Barangay Amado

Barangay Amado forms part of Pudtol, a municipality in Apayao, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Amado had a population of 761. This made it the 8th largest of 22 barangays in Pudtol by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Amado accounted for approximately 4.91% of the total population of Pudtol, which stood at 15,491 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Amado moving from 802 residents to 761 residents, an intercensal change of -5.1%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Amado is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
