Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.)

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Pulupandan in Negros Occidental, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) had a population of 2,377. This made it the 2nd largest of 20 barangays in Pulupandan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 7.89% of the total population of Pulupandan, which stood at 30,117 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) moving from 2,295 residents to 2,377 residents, an intercensal change of +3.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
