Barangay I (Pob.)

Situated in Quezon, Nueva Ecija, Barangay I (Pob.) is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay I (Pob.) had a population of 1,531. This made it the 14th largest of 16 barangays in Quezon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay I (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.66% of the total population of Quezon, which stood at 41,845 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay I (Pob.) moving from 1,487 residents to 1,531 residents, an intercensal change of +3.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay I (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Quezon is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay I (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
