Barangay Aurora

Barangay Aurora is a very small barangay in the municipality of Quezon, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Aurora had a population of 470. This made it the 15th largest of 15 barangays in Quezon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Aurora accounted for approximately 1.74% of the total population of Quezon, which stood at 27,037 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Aurora moving from 444 residents to 470 residents, an intercensal change of +5.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Aurora is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Quezon is a municipality comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Aurora, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
