Barangay Villahermosa

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Villahermosa is one of the administrative divisions of Rapu-Rapu in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Villahermosa had a population of 1,832. This made it the 4th largest of 34 barangays in Rapu-Rapu by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Villahermosa accounted for approximately 5.07% of the total population of Rapu-Rapu, which stood at 36,151 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Villahermosa moving from 2,299 residents to 1,832 residents, an intercensal change of -20.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Villahermosa as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
