Barangay Pasingan

Situated in Rizal, Cagayan, Barangay Pasingan is one of 29 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pasingan had a population of 215. This made it the 26th largest of 29 barangays in Rizal by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pasingan accounted for approximately 1.13% of the total population of Rizal, which stood at 19,077 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pasingan changed from 296 to 215, a shift of -27.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Rizal. Barangay Pasingan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
