Barangay Pag-Alad

Barangay Pag-Alad forms part of San Andres, a municipality in Romblon, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pag-Alad had a population of 1,295. This made it the 8th largest of 13 barangays in San Andres by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pag-Alad accounted for approximately 8.12% of the total population of San Andres, which stood at 15,940 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pag-Alad moving from 1,173 residents to 1,295 residents, an intercensal change of +10.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pag-Alad as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Andres is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pag-Alad, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
