Barangay Santa Paz Norte

Situated in San Francisco, Southern Leyte, Barangay Santa Paz Norte is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Paz Norte had a population of 725. This made it the 8th largest of 22 barangays in San Francisco by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Paz Norte accounted for approximately 5.40% of the total population of San Francisco, which stood at 13,436 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 714 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 725 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.5%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Santa Paz Norte is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
