Barangay Cadoldolan

Barangay Cadoldolan is a very small barangay in the municipality of San Joaquin, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cadoldolan had a population of 485. This made it the 40th largest of 85 barangays in San Joaquin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cadoldolan accounted for approximately 0.92% of the total population of San Joaquin, which stood at 52,617 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cadoldolan changed from 493 to 485, a shift of -1.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in San Joaquin. Barangay Cadoldolan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Joaquin is a municipality comprising 85 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cadoldolan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
