Situated in San Joaquin, Iloilo, Barangay Iglilico is one of 85 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

This made it the 69th largest of 85 barangays in San Joaquin by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Iglilico accounted for approximately 0.50% of the total population of San Joaquin, which stood at 52,617 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Iglilico moving from 286 residents to 261 residents, an intercensal change of -8.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
