Barangay Mabini Norte

Barangay Mabini Norte is a very small barangay in the municipality of San Joaquin, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mabini Norte had a population of 308. This made it the 63rd largest of 85 barangays in San Joaquin by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mabini Norte accounted for approximately 0.59% of the total population of San Joaquin, which stood at 52,617 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Mabini Norte changed from 269 to 308, a shift of +14.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Joaquin. Barangay Mabini Norte is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Joaquin is a municipality comprising 85 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mabini Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Iloilo, which contains 1,901 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Mabini Norte ranks 1557th by 2020 population.
