Barangay Mabini Sur

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Mabini Sur is one of the administrative divisions of San Joaquin in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mabini Sur had a population of 421. This made it the 51st largest of 85 barangays in San Joaquin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Mabini Sur changed from 385 to 421, a shift of +9.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Joaquin. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mabini Sur as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
