Barangay Nadsadan

Situated in San Joaquin, Iloilo, Barangay Nadsadan is one of 85 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Nadsadan had a population of 340. This made it the 59th largest of 85 barangays in San Joaquin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nadsadan accounted for approximately 0.65% of the total population of San Joaquin, which stood at 52,617 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 352 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 340 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -3.4%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Nadsadan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Joaquin is a municipality comprising 85 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nadsadan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
