Barangay Sinogbuhan

Barangay Sinogbuhan is a small barangay in the municipality of San Joaquin, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sinogbuhan had a population of 1,745. This made it the 5th largest of 85 barangays in San Joaquin by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sinogbuhan accounted for approximately 3.32% of the total population of San Joaquin, which stood at 52,617 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sinogbuhan moving from 1,755 residents to 1,745 residents, an intercensal change of -0.6%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community.
