Barangay Mancol (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Mancol (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of San Jorge in Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mancol (Pob.) had a population of 972. This made it the 2nd largest of 41 barangays in San Jorge by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mancol (Pob.) accounted for approximately 5.53% of the total population of San Jorge, which stood at 17,579 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 922 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 972 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Mancol (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
