Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a very small barangay in the municipality of San Jorge, located in the province of Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 483. This made it the 16th largest of 41 barangays in San Jorge by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 2.75% of the total population of San Jorge, which stood at 17,579 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Isidro moving from 489 residents to 483 residents, an intercensal change of -1.2%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community.
