Barangay Sibut

Barangay Sibut is a large barangay in the city of San Jose City, located in the province of Nueva Ecija, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sibut had a population of 6,473. This made it the 6th largest of 38 barangays in San Jose City by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Sibut accounted for approximately 4.29% of the total population of San Jose City, which stood at 150,917 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sibut moving from 6,333 residents to 6,473 residents, an intercensal change of +2.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sibut as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
