Barangay Lubigan

Situated in San Jose, Tarlac, Barangay Lubigan is one of 13 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

This made it the 11th largest of 13 barangays in San Jose by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lubigan accounted for approximately 4.15% of the total population of San Jose, which stood at 41,182 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lubigan moving from 1,421 residents to 1,709 residents, an intercensal change of +20.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lubigan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
