Barangay Ocapan

Barangay Ocapan is a small barangay in the municipality of San Miguel, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ocapan had a population of 763. This made it the 11th largest of 18 barangays in San Miguel by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ocapan accounted for approximately 3.85% of the total population of San Miguel, which stood at 19,838 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ocapan moving from 732 residents to 763 residents, an intercensal change of +4.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
