Barangay Batasan Matanda

Barangay Batasan Matanda is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of San Miguel, located in the province of Bulacan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Batasan Matanda had a population of 3,404. This made it the 19th largest of 49 barangays in San Miguel by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Batasan Matanda accounted for approximately 1.98% of the total population of San Miguel, which stood at 172,073 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Batasan Matanda moving from 3,003 residents to 3,404 residents, an intercensal change of +13.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
