Barangay Biclat

Barangay Biclat is a small barangay in the municipality of San Miguel, located in the province of Bulacan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Biclat had a population of 1,761. This made it the 42nd largest of 49 barangays in San Miguel by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Biclat accounted for approximately 1.02% of the total population of San Miguel, which stood at 172,073 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Biclat moving from 1,870 residents to 1,761 residents, an intercensal change of -5.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Biclat as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
