Barangay Culasian

Barangay Culasian is a small barangay in the municipality of San Pablo, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Culasian had a population of 1,067. This made it the 9th largest of 28 barangays in San Pablo by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Culasian accounted for approximately 4.00% of the total population of San Pablo, which stood at 26,648 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Culasian moving from 1,379 residents to 1,067 residents, an intercensal change of -22.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
