Barangay Minanga Sur

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Minanga Sur is one of the administrative divisions of San Pablo in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Minanga Sur had a population of 1,391. This made it the 9th largest of 17 barangays in San Pablo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Minanga Sur accounted for approximately 5.28% of the total population of San Pablo, which stood at 26,320 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,300 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,391 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Minanga Sur as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Pablo is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Minanga Sur, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
