Barangay No. 4 (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay No. 4 (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of San Policarpo in Eastern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay No. 4 (Pob.) had a population of 919. This made it the 7th largest of 17 barangays in San Policarpo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay No. 4 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 5.98% of the total population of San Policarpo, which stood at 15,365 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay No. 4 (Pob.) changed from 860 to 919, a shift of +6.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Policarpo. Barangay No. 4 (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Policarpo is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay No. 4 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
