Barangay San Agustin

Situated in Santa Ana, Pampanga, Barangay San Agustin is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Agustin had a population of 3,308. This made it the 8th largest of 14 barangays in Santa Ana by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Agustin accounted for approximately 5.38% of the total population of Santa Ana, which stood at 61,537 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Agustin changed from 3,251 to 3,308, a shift of +1.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Santa Ana. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Agustin as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Ana is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Agustin, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
