Barangay San Bartolome

Barangay San Bartolome is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Santa Ana, located in the province of Pampanga, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Bartolome had a population of 2,774. This made it the 11th largest of 14 barangays in Santa Ana by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Bartolome accounted for approximately 4.51% of the total population of Santa Ana, which stood at 61,537 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Bartolome changed from 1,795 to 2,774, a shift of +54.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Santa Ana. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Bartolome as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Santa Ana is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Bartolome, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Bartolome ranks 320th by 2020 population.
