Barangay Bolitoc

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bolitoc is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Cruz in Zambales, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bolitoc had a population of 3,648. This made it the 5th largest of 25 barangays in Santa Cruz by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bolitoc accounted for approximately 5.71% of the total population of Santa Cruz, which stood at 63,839 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bolitoc moving from 3,375 residents to 3,648 residents, an intercensal change of +8.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Bolitoc is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Cruz is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bolitoc, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
