Barangay Alacaak

Situated in Santa Cruz, Occidental Mindoro, Barangay Alacaak is one of 11 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Alacaak had a population of 4,040. This made it the 4th largest of 11 barangays in Santa Cruz by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Alacaak accounted for approximately 9.52% of the total population of Santa Cruz, which stood at 42,417 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Alacaak moving from 3,290 residents to 4,040 residents, an intercensal change of +22.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
