Barangay Poblacion

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Poblacion is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Fe in Nueva Vizcaya, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion had a population of 1,197. This made it the 8th largest of 16 barangays in Santa Fe by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion accounted for approximately 6.55% of the total population of Santa Fe, which stood at 18,276 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion moving from 1,084 residents to 1,197 residents, an intercensal change of +10.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Fe is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Poblacion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
