Barangay Nagtablaan

Barangay Nagtablaan is a very small barangay in the municipality of Santa Lucia, located in the province of Ilocos Sur, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nagtablaan had a population of 412. This made it the 31st largest of 36 barangays in Santa Lucia by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagtablaan accounted for approximately 1.59% of the total population of Santa Lucia, which stood at 25,966 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nagtablaan moving from 423 residents to 412 residents, an intercensal change of -2.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nagtablaan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
