Barangay Quinabalayangan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Quinabalayangan is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Lucia in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Quinabalayangan had a population of 255. This made it the 36th largest of 36 barangays in Santa Lucia by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Quinabalayangan accounted for approximately 0.98% of the total population of Santa Lucia, which stood at 25,966 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 240 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 255 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Quinabalayangan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
