Barangay Caboluan

Barangay Caboluan is a small barangay in the municipality of Santa Maria, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Caboluan had a population of 730. This made it the 21st largest of 23 barangays in Santa Maria by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caboluan accounted for approximately 2.13% of the total population of Santa Maria, which stood at 34,220 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Caboluan moving from 743 residents to 730 residents, an intercensal change of -1.7%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Caboluan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
