Barangay Cal-litang

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Cal-litang is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Maria in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cal-litang had a population of 2,356. This made it the 3rd largest of 23 barangays in Santa Maria by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cal-litang accounted for approximately 6.88% of the total population of Santa Maria, which stood at 34,220 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cal-litang moving from 2,281 residents to 2,356 residents, an intercensal change of +3.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cal-litang as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
