Barangay Buenavista

Barangay Buenavista is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Santa Maria, located in the province of Bulacan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Buenavista had a population of 2,821. This made it the 21st largest of 24 barangays in Santa Maria by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Buenavista accounted for approximately 0.97% of the total population of Santa Maria, which stood at 289,820 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Buenavista changed from 2,436 to 2,821, a shift of +15.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Santa Maria. Barangay Buenavista is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
