Barangay Capacuan

Barangay Capacuan forms part of Santa Praxedes, a municipality in Cagayan, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Capacuan had a population of 550. This made it the 4th largest of 10 barangays in Santa Praxedes by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. The barangay recorded 530 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 550 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.8%, consistent with a growing settlement.
