Barangay Centro II (Pob.)

Barangay Centro II (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Santa Praxedes, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Centro II (Pob.) had a population of 913. This made it the 2nd largest of 10 barangays in Santa Praxedes by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Centro II (Pob.) accounted for approximately 20.59% of the total population of Santa Praxedes, which stood at 4,434 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 810 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 913 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +12.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Centro II (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
