Barangay Aridowen

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Aridowen is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Teresita in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Aridowen had a population of 1,327. This made it the 9th largest of 13 barangays in Santa Teresita by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Aridowen accounted for approximately 6.78% of the total population of Santa Teresita, which stood at 19,573 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Aridowen changed from 1,288 to 1,327, a shift of +3.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Santa Teresita. Barangay Aridowen is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Teresita is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Aridowen, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cagayan, which contains 820 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Aridowen ranks 372nd by 2020 population.
