Barangay Sajaneba

Barangay Sajaneba forms part of Santo Niño, a municipality in South Cotabato, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sajaneba had a population of 1,696. This made it the 10th largest of 10 barangays in Santo Niño by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sajaneba accounted for approximately 4.26% of the total population of Santo Niño, which stood at 39,796 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sajaneba moving from 1,586 residents to 1,696 residents, an intercensal change of +6.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sajaneba as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santo Niño is a municipality comprising 10 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sajaneba, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
