Barangay Mangandingay

Situated in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, Barangay Mangandingay is one of 37 barangays that make up the city within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mangandingay had a population of 1,819. This made it the 22nd largest of 37 barangays in Science City of Muñoz by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Mangandingay accounted for approximately 2.16% of the total population of Science City of Muñoz, which stood at 84,308 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,688 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,819 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Mangandingay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Science City of Muñoz is a city comprising 37 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mangandingay, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
