Barangay Matingkis

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Matingkis is one of the administrative divisions of Science City of Muñoz in Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Matingkis had a population of 1,093. This made it the 31st largest of 37 barangays in Science City of Muñoz by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Matingkis accounted for approximately 1.30% of the total population of Science City of Muñoz, which stood at 84,308 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Matingkis moving from 972 residents to 1,093 residents, an intercensal change of +12.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Matingkis as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
