Barangay Perez

Barangay Perez is a small barangay in the municipality of Sibagat, located in the province of Agusan Del Sur, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Perez had a population of 1,414. This made it the 8th largest of 24 barangays in Sibagat by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Perez accounted for approximately 4.16% of the total population of Sibagat, which stood at 33,957 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Perez moving from 923 residents to 1,414 residents, an intercensal change of +53.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Perez is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
