Situated in Sibalom, Antique, Barangay Calog is one of 76 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Calog had a population of 406. This made it the 63rd largest of 76 barangays in Sibalom by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calog accounted for approximately 0.64% of the total population of Sibalom, which stood at 63,833 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 400 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 406 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.5%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Calog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sibalom is a municipality comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Calog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Antique, which contains 590 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Calog ranks 482nd by 2020 population.
