Barangay Igparas

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Igparas is one of the administrative divisions of Sibalom in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Igparas had a population of 416. This made it the 62nd largest of 76 barangays in Sibalom by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Igparas accounted for approximately 0.65% of the total population of Sibalom, which stood at 63,833 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Igparas changed from 347 to 416, a shift of +19.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Sibalom. Barangay Igparas is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sibalom is a municipality comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Igparas, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
