Barangay Pis-Anan

Situated in Sibalom, Antique, Barangay Pis-Anan is one of 76 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pis-Anan had a population of 2,421. This made it the 4th largest of 76 barangays in Sibalom by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pis-Anan accounted for approximately 3.79% of the total population of Sibalom, which stood at 63,833 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pis-Anan changed from 2,355 to 2,421, a shift of +2.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Sibalom. Barangay Pis-Anan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sibalom is a municipality comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pis-Anan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
