Barangay Tabongtabong

Barangay Tabongtabong is a very small barangay in the municipality of Sibalom, located in the province of Antique, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tabongtabong had a population of 383. This made it the 65th largest of 76 barangays in Sibalom by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tabongtabong accounted for approximately 0.60% of the total population of Sibalom, which stood at 63,833 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tabongtabong moving from 389 residents to 383 residents, an intercensal change of -1.5%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Tabongtabong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sibalom is a municipality comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tabongtabong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
