Barangay Tigbalua II

Situated in Sibalom, Antique, Barangay Tigbalua II is one of 76 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tigbalua II had a population of 297. This made it the 74th largest of 76 barangays in Sibalom by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tigbalua II accounted for approximately 0.47% of the total population of Sibalom, which stood at 63,833 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 264 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 297 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +12.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tigbalua II as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sibalom is a municipality comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tigbalua II, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
