Barangay Tordesillas

Barangay Tordesillas is a very small barangay in the municipality of Sibalom, located in the province of Antique, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tordesillas had a population of 428. This made it the 61st largest of 76 barangays in Sibalom by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tordesillas accounted for approximately 0.67% of the total population of Sibalom, which stood at 63,833 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tordesillas moving from 418 residents to 428 residents, an intercensal change of +2.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tordesillas is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sibalom is a municipality comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tordesillas, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
