Barangay Poblacion

Barangay Poblacion is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Sierra Bullones, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion had a population of 2,743. This made it the 2nd largest of 22 barangays in Sierra Bullones by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion accounted for approximately 10.51% of the total population of Sierra Bullones, which stood at 26,095 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion moving from 2,782 residents to 2,743 residents, an intercensal change of -1.4%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Poblacion is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
