Barangay Quimmallogong

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Quimmallogong is one of the administrative divisions of Sinait in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Quimmallogong had a population of 378. This made it the 32nd largest of 44 barangays in Sinait by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Quimmallogong accounted for approximately 1.45% of the total population of Sinait, which stood at 25,998 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Quimmallogong moving from 352 residents to 378 residents, an intercensal change of +7.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Quimmallogong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sinait is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Quimmallogong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
