Barangay Salvacion

Situated in Sipocot, Camarines Sur, Barangay Salvacion is one of 46 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Salvacion had a population of 1,142. This made it the 27th largest of 46 barangays in Sipocot by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Salvacion accounted for approximately 1.68% of the total population of Sipocot, which stood at 68,169 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Salvacion changed from 1,175 to 1,142, a shift of -2.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Sipocot. Barangay Salvacion is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sipocot is a municipality comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Salvacion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
